Forthcoming events

I will be speaking at a Focus Meeting of the Croydon Natural History and Scientific Society on Saturday 24th November, 2018. This event will centre on Croydon’s involvement in the women’s suffrage movement and my contribution will be about the life and times of Dorinda Neligan, the first headmistress of Croydon High School, an ardent campaigner for women’s suffrage and a key influence in Grace Oakeshott’s early life. The meeting takes place from 2.30 to 5pm in the Large Hall of the East Croydon United Reform Church in Addiscombe Grove (almost opposite East Croydon Station) – and all are welcome!

NOTE: If you would like me to give a talk about Grace Oakeshott and my experiences of researching and writing about her life to your book group or any group that you feel might be interested, please use the contact page on my website to send me an email.
